Ages 5 & under

Our Family Tree with Hillel Lodge
Spend some time with the residents of Hillel Lodge while you make a family tree craft together.

Dance-a-Tonne Fun with Hillel Lodge
Join our friends at Hillel Lodge for a rousing multi-generational dance-along, ​while spending time and bringing cheer to the residents of Hillel Lodge.

Catnip Toys & Furrever Homes
Hear from a volunteer of the Furry Tales Cat Rescue. Using single socks from our recycling collection, you will make silly catnip sock toys to donate to  foster cats.
​Note: this activity will be held at the Lodge.

Learn about Tu B'Shevat. You will be planting your own herbs.

​Can-gineering For Food Security
Create as a team, a structure using Kosher food cans, Kosher food boxes, and a mystery prop. Collected items will be donated to Ottawa Kosher Food Bank and others. Winning team will designate a $ donation. Kosher cans & boxes contribution is encouraged.

Offsite Activities

NCSY & Ten Yad
Help cook for Ten Yad and participate in a short family learning program. Open to students grades 6-12 with or without family members. 
Ten Yad is a community-based organization that helps Jewish families during life cycle events. 
**Torah High students can earn Torah High seminar credits while making a difference**
NOTE: This activity takes place at NCSY Centre, located at 261 Centrepointe Drive, Ottawa.
